My kids go to this school and the crossing patrol is the only thing that makes the road safe. Cut the waste elsewhere not here.
absolute madness to cut this service. shame on them.
The blind corners on wash green are a nightmare. Its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. Keep the patrol!!
Budget cuts = compromised safety of some of our most vunerabe people - children.... If there have to be cuts, then they should properly prioritized... I wonder how long it we will be before we have to raise money via charity/donations to keep our essential services...
This road is terrifying even in a car. My son walks that way every morning and I wont let him do it alone if the lollipop lady goes. Get a grip council.

UNBELIEVABLE. Putting money before kids lives again. Wirksworth traffic is getting worse by the day and they think this is okay???
