I have been reviewing the stories many of you shared about your own experiences navigating the traffic near the school gates. These accounts confirm that our concerns are widely held and deeply felt by families in this neighborhood. I am currently preparing to present this collection of experiences to the local council so they can see the reality of what we face each morning.

Reaching this level of support confirms that our community sees the same dangers on St. Johns Road that I do every morning. It is heartening to see so many people align behind the simple idea that child safety should never be a matter of luck.

I agree with this petition as i have two small children, who attend the primary school. Everytime we have to cross its like taking our live in our hands.
This needs to be a priority, does it have to take a serious accident to happen before this is considered
St johns road and birchfield road from northbrook is very dangerous to cross me and my children have almosy been hit there many times its not just public and parents druvung too fast teachers as well rediculouse
The roads around birch field school are so unsafe if parents are running late they speed to get there child/children into the school ASAP. I've had near misses & my friend a couple years ago actually got hit by a car reversing back, luckily it wasn't serious but if that was a child it could've been so much worse. Something needs to be put in place around the area
As the years have gone on this road has become so busy, more cars racing up and down that road. What happened to the good old lollipop lady/man/non-binory/ person?

This road is so difficult to cross. Drivers speeding through st jhons.. I hope this will be done before someone gets hurt.
