Hello to our 2T Boarding & Kennels family!
We are in need of your help!
As of 1/4/2021 our neighbors have filed for a permit to open a dog boarding facility. This is not just a boarding facility, but also a doggie daycare. Doggie daycares are known for having uncontrolled environments, barking, large number of dogs, and frequent drop off and pickups. This second kennel if permitted will be located 500ft away from our kennel. Our concern is that the excessive barking of a second kennel will have a very negative effect on how we run our facility. We pride ourselves in offering boarding that is a controlled environment, calm, quiet, and relaxed. This helps us offer boarding to dogs that may not be able to board else where, including dogs that are aggressive, anxious, intact, and working/high-energy dogs. If the noise and barking from this second kennel is easily heard by the dogs staying in ours, we will not be able to provide the level of care that we have been able to, and it will cause stress to our boarding dogs. If you would like to please sign our petition, it would help back our kennel and show the county board that the location of this proposed second kennel is not ideal.

Seeing the level of support for this cause has been a heavy yet welcome surprise while I navigate the exhaustion of these past few weeks. This backing gives me the resolve to keep pushing forward even when the challenges feel overwhelming. We are not backing down now.

Please don't let a second kennel open so close to 2T. We are neighbors & would much object to extra noise & traffic in the area. 2T has done a great job keeping noise down and & not effecting the peace & quiet of our area.
As the owner of an older and very anxious dog, I have entrusted 2T with my dogs care and been very satisfied. The environment which is loving and calm will change with the addition of another kennel facility in such close proximity. Please consider the service 2T provides as unique and do not allow it to be undermined.
2T kennels has provided a unique and professional service to our community which focuses on safe and calm environment for their customers. Any boarding or day care service which caters to large numbers of animals establishing itself in close proximity of another dog boarding business would create increased barking and stress to all dogs in the area not to mention the residents living in the community
I have a lab that has a lot of anxiety when she is away from me and requires a calm environment when she has to stay elsewhere. 2T provides such an environment and I feel having high activity of other dogs where she is not allowed to interact would add to her anxiety. I oppose another dog facility which will interfere with this.
Having a second kennel so close to 2t is not goodZ we are able to take our dog to 2 t because of the quiet environment that they offer and they know how to handle a working dog. Please do not let another kennel out there
2T has provided excellent service to my dogs. Please do not allow another facility this close to them.
Why would you let another dog kennel open only 500 ft. from 2T. Seems ridiculous to me.

I had my dog boarding with 2TBoarding —for 6 consecutive days—, and I really appreciated the great care for my dog, which suffers anxiety. There's no doubts that it would negatively impact having a lot of noise so close to 2T Boarding premises.
