Dear everyone, we present to you a petition for Katie Abrahams, a long standing member of the rare inherited metabolic disorder community. Katie has been on a glucose 10% drip in hospital for over 300 consecutive days. She has already suffered from TPN-induced fatty liver and liver fibrosis, blood stream sepsis, metabolic crisis and significant weight loss.
We are trying to get essential surgery for Katie, which has been recommended by a team of experts at Cleveland Clinic. This surgery is the only way for Katie to get out of hospital.
We need our friend Katie to get her life back.

I am watching the count tick up and honestly I just want to see triple digits so we can finally show the hospital administrators that people actually care about what happens to Katie. Please grab a link and put it anywhere people might see it because the momentum is building and I really think we can break through this barrier if we just keep pushing.

Any person will a complex illness should have the right to any treatment in there own country private or NHS as its saving the NHS by getting the patient out of a hospital bed

We implore you to accept young Katie Abrahams into St. Marks Hospital in London for the essential surgery which she urgently requires as recommended by the team of experts at Cleveland Clinic.
I support Katie in this endeavour. Her quality of life is deteriorating all the time. The sooner this happens, the better.
It is only right to allow a person Who was fighting for their health? the freedom to choose where they get medical care and surgery from .

I had the pleasure of meeting Katie earlier on in the year she is a lovely gentle soul that deserves a break in life
