Kate is a human being like the rest of us. she has a disorder and deserves to have her dreams come true. every little girl dreams about going to prom. If anything the asshole of a principal should be finding a way to to get her to the dance and giving her a chance to feel the way every girl feels when they ho to prom!!!!!!!!!! Let Kate go to prom!!!

Unbelievable. my heart breaks for katie. she should be allowed to celebrate with her friends regardless of her credits. do the right thing.

This makes me so mad. High school is hard enough without being treated like an outcast. Let her go to her prom!! It is just one night.

Ridiculous. Schools are supposed to support students not bully them. Shame on the principal for being so cruel to someone dealing with a health issue.

The principle of holy cross secondary school should be ashamed of his/herself for not only singling out but depriving one of their students the experience of prom, based on her disorder and credits and should be setting a better example for the young generation that occupies the halls of that school on a daily basis. Support, positivity and encouragement to ALL students is essential. Question for the principle, how would you feel if the situation was reversed and it was your child ? LET KATIE GO TO PROM..... Katie, you are strong and you are beautiful. The people that matter have your back, your principle is JUST another person- I would go anyways, do not settle and do not let someone deprive you of things that would make you most happy. Xo
