We are approaching one hundred signatures. Keep pushing because we need to show the judge that this cruelty will not be ignored.

It is unacceptable I don't care who u are Baltimore will not stand for this animals are just like kids would he hold down a 7 yr old child and cut their throat and then still walk the streets so he can do it again I am disgusted with Baltimore city police and our court systems. He should get life without parole or even better an eye for an eye
We do not want any type of animal cruelty allowed. Whether it is dog fighting, neglect, or this type of vicious behavior. People and animals react from fear when lost or approached by strangers. There is no need to kill them. This dog was already restrained and did not pose a threat. If this is "official police training" then we need to re evaluate and retrain our officers.
Something similar happened where I live, saint clair shores, mi. A family pet got out of her yard. Police determined she was a menace. Shot her 8 times but did not kill her...she bled to death. Police were "counseled" on dealing with animals....all b.s. community has not given up...."Justice for Lexie". I pray there is Justice for Nails!!
I am in shock and disgust what this asshole did. I have two wonderful dogs of my own and I don't know what I would do if someone did that to my dogs. I am ashamed to be from the same city as this guy. They need to pass stricter laws for animal abuse and violent animal killings such as this. Let's help get justice for Nala and try to prevent something like this from happening again. It seems to becoming a common occurrence. I really hope this scum of a human-being gets his.
Schmidt is guilty as well as he was an accomplice who choked the poor, scared dog with a snare and then knelt with all his weight on the dog's chest so Bolger could cut the dog's throat. I think all criminal cases that these two have been involved in should be examined as they obviously are out of control and dangerous. What about the other officers who just stood by? This would never have been made public had it not be captures on film by a witness. I wonder how many other horrific deeds these two did when no witness was present.

Could we amend this petition to request that equal charges be placed against the officer that equally participated in the crime? He is a24 year veteran, 52 years old, his name is Timothy Schmidt and he is still being paid a salary. He held the dog down. . .
