We, employees of Kona Community Hospital and the community of Kona, petition for a public investigation into the allegations of financial improprieties, unethical behavior and abuse of power occurring within the senior leadership team and board of directors at KCH. With the best interest of our patients, community and staff, and having exhausted many other outlets, we publicly call for this investigation.

KCH employees, we are protected by our first amendment rights and the union. Please sign that you are against the alleged misconduct.

The leadership at Kona Community Hospital is finally starting to sweat as this momentum picks up. They thought we would stay silent or just go away but this surge proves them wrong.

They are way overpaid and giving their employees no leadership or any justice for us workers that’s underpaid and working hard. Lots of changes to employees job descriptions by them and no consulting with our union representatives on changes being done...doing what the want to do and treating employees like their puppets ...

Corruption, especially at the top, is all too frequent and has no place in our healthcare system. Allegations have been made and need to be investigated. No more "good ole boy or gal" shenanigans. Are there no more leaders with integrity left in America, let alone Kona?

This is a public facility financed by public funds. As a taxpayer I support investigation into these allegations...taxpayer monies and trust are involved!

I totally agree with this statement. Not enough local representation from the community in the hospital leadership.

The staff of the hospital deserve transparency. To see why they have not gotten any raises. And pay cuts are suggested for the front line workers but not the Managment.. The highest ups are getting raises

It only taking money, administration has been abusive to staff. They took it out on local people and the new, now gone, leaders. Power corrupts. Harrassment has been going on for at least eight years.

I have fully supported the West Hawaii community and Kona Community Hospital for years. Unfortunately, for me, a lot of these allegations being made appear to be unsubstantiated, not well supported and actually quite illogical when held up to any scrutiny. With this amount of salacious claims and information, I need more proof than some random anonymous comments. My money is on this petition being derived from some bitter present, past and/or currently on leave individuals that are trying to deflect blame and focus for their own wrong doings and tyranny. It's unfortunate because no matter how this plays out, it will only hurt the hospital and the community that they're claiming to support.

If they are stealing from the state then call the state compliance division. Stop making accusations without providing proof
