We, the undersigned, stand united against the EDHCSD’s illegal “Teri Tax,” which is compelling interim General Counsel Mr. Cole to violate the law. His claim that only “constituents” can file complaints about EDHCSD's policies, procedures, and staff effectively silences those who live around the CSD, effectively violating their U.S. constitutional rights.
If proven illegal, the improper operation of this 'Teri Tax' threatens property values for current and future residents in and around El Dorado Hills and, in the long run, could undermine the fiscal solvency of our local community services district. Our community—both inside and outside El Dorado Hills—demands transparency regarding Counsel Derek Cole’s policy interpretations, which lack proper board approval.
This issue is about more than just rogue management and illegal taxes; it’s about accountability. Mr. Cole serves the board, not the other way around! CFO Teri Gotro must secure proper authorization to levy taxes—it’s the law.
We call for the re-establishment of EDHCSD’s directors as the true leaders of our local government, not rogue unelected officials.

Go to the press. If Mr. Cole won't speak to his constituents, he's not being accountable. This is news. Assume the conflict of interest is there and make a lot of noise about it; this may garner a better response from him.
EDHCSD has been making decisions that is not in interested of the EDH residents (i.e. shutting off the landscape water to Oak Ridge Village). More transparency is needed. The mismanagement of public funds needs to stop!
I've been told that CFO, Mrs. Gotro, has approved tax levies without board approval. I would like to get clarification and accountability of the management of our funds.
As a 30 year resident of El Dorado Hills, I deserve transparency as to how my tax dollar is being used. Board approval of any policies should be a Hills mandated.

The monthly fee is too much and the increases are not manageable. Requesting a freeze on the fees for 3 years
