The Scottish Government cannot ignore this wave of support for maintaining the John Wheatley legacy in Glasgow. We have real momentum now and it is time for the bureaucracy to stop threatening our local identity.

John Wheatley is a huge part of Glasgow history the government needs to listen to the people who actually live here.
Keep the name. It means a lot to the local community.
My granda went there years ago and was so proud of it. Please dont change the name just to suit some bureaucrats idea of a rebrand.
John Wheatley did so much for the east end. It would be a total disgrace to just scrub his name off like he never existed.
Bad idea to drop it. Keep it as is.

WITHOUT JOHN WHEATLEY THIS COLLEGE WOULDNT HAVE THE REPUTATION IT HAS TODAY. DONT FORGET THE HISTORY.
