In 2015, Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics opened a Dental Clinic on 164 Kinman Avenue and moved its Primary Care Medical Clinic to 5580 Calle Real, to serve Goleta residents. In the 4,939 unique patients seen at one of SBNCs Goleta Clinics in 2015, 82% of the population SBNC serves is at or below the Poverty Level. One of the barriers to medical treatment is transportation. On behalf of our patients it is requested that the bus route for line#7 be extended and additional routes be added so that our patients are able to have transportation to make their medical appointments timely. it is impossible for my elderly mom to get to her appointments when the bus only comes once an hour. she ends up missing so many checkups because of this. please fix the schedule!
