You all must be aware by now that after painstaking efforts, the Women’s group of Uptown has come up with a rate list for the remuneration for household chores. The list has been shared with the employers of house-helps in Uptown. We hope that adherence to this rate list will help resolve the current situation wherein the residents are facing unreasonable demands of remuneration from the house-helps. For this, we need unflinching support and cooperation from the RWA and the Estate office. This petition is to request a robust roll out of the rate list across Uptown at the earliest.
