Burke is officially our new head coach and I am honestly speechless. You all pushed hard for this and the university finally listened to what we needed. I will be at the front row for the first game to celebrate this win with all of you.

I have been hearing from so many of you who remember the energy Burke brought to the court and why he belongs back at the helm. I am continuing to push these names forward to the decision makers because they need to see that the community is not going to let this slide.

Rob is an awesome coach that put his players first. I know first hand. He coached my son. Rob goes hard for the task that is set for him. Allow him to continue what he was born to do and that is making great basketball programs where the players and fans are proud to be a part of the school.
As R. Burke pulls UNCW Men’s Basketball out of the losing funk game by game we see a true leader come to head of Men’s Basketball. For this reason UNCW should award R. Burke the title from Interim Head Coach to UNCW Men’s Basketball Head Coach.
love the enthusiasm that we have seen the last 6 weeks in Trask Coliseum. Also am impressed with Rob Burke's leadership and his ability to build a team that plays as a team. He connects with the team and the spectators.
Rob definitely bought the energy back- with the players and even the fans. He jump in and took a team that given up as a team and as individuals & got them refocus. No doubt, there are more areas he has to fine tune with the team but he can definitely do it!!!
Rob’s passion for and knowledge of the game is unsurpassed. When he gets some players in next year, UNCW will get back to the top of the CAA where they belong.
Rob Burke is more than qualified for this position.....
You Can't Go Wrong. Rob Has What You Need!!!

As UNCW alumni and long time athletics supporters, we have enjoyed the best and endured the worst of the basketball program over the years. We feel that Rob Burke has brought new life to an obviously floundering program. Over the last few months we have seen this team and the fans come alive. Rob has earned a chance to lead the program.
