As many of you may know, Paul Burke, the principal of Oak Ridge is currently on administrative leave and has been for the past month. The reasons are not known but what is known is that he needs student support. If we want Principal Burke back then we have to let the District Board know. I have created this petition in support of Mr. Burke because he is in support of all of us. I feel like by signing this petition you are supporting our principal that has supported you all throughout your years at oak ridge. This situation is a confidential personnel matter that the school district will not disclose. No students were involved. Personally I would support Mr. Burke based on his positive actions that he has displayed over his past 2 years at Oak Ridge. If you choose to sign that would be appreciated. We are also asking for personal letters to be sent to the district superintendent and board of trustees by this Friday. Thank you.

We fully support Mr. Paul Burke as principal of Oak Ridge High School. We have known him for 2 1/2 years and feel he exemplifies leadership, enthusiasm, integrity, respect and pride for his students, the school and the community.
If Burke goes students loose!!! Mr. Burke holds teachers accountable and keeps a high standard of excellence. I'm a parent of 2 orhs students and have been very happy with Mr. Burke leadership. Any school board that would vote him out does NOT have my vote.
Every interaction I have personally had with Paul Burke has been very positive. I feel that it is wrong that the school does not allow Mr. Burke to tell his side of the story (whatever the allegations). I have seen this happen to teachers before and it is so unfair!
I graduated from Orhs 2 years ago when mr. Burke was new and I have nothing but positive things to say about him. My entire family is in education (teachers, principals, etc) and I can recognize a strong, positive school leader when I see one
As the OR girls tennis coach, I have come to know Principal Burke since his arrival. He's been very supportive of the tennis team and sports in general. He has personally created a very positive atmosphere amongst the students. I would like him to remain the schools principal.
innocent until proven guilty and the school district didn't give him that right.
Paul Burke is well respected I. Our community and at Oak Ridge! He has made a difference in our children's lives and we support the changes that he's been making! Keep Prinicpal Burke at Oak Ridge.

Principal Burke has been kind and helpful to our family, and students and parents seem to generally view him positively. If there is an allegation, it should be made public. The school board is a representative of the people, not the secret police.
