I hold an undergraduate and graduate degree from UNCW. I worked for the university for 30 years in Randall Library. I am a season ticket holder of UNCW men's basketball tickets. I give annually to the university. Burke deserves a shot at this head coaching position. These young men have been through so much and they respond to him as do the students and the fans. Give the man a chance.

Why would you not hire him at this point Jimmy Bass? The students and season ticket holders (like myself) want you to hire him to lead the program. If you do hire him and he does not work out, that would not be on you. If you do not hire him and the next coach does not work out, that would be 100% your mistake. In other words, Jimmy has nothing to loose by hiring him, and everything to loose if he doesn't.
