Wilmington, we need your help!

TRU Colors wants to buy the old bus depot on 11th and Castle from the City. If we do, we will be bringing 100 great jobs, diversity, and opportunity, and a decrease in violence.

Show your support for TRU Colors coming to Castle Street by putting your name on the list.

***TRU Colors is not requesting donations following this petition. We appreciate your signature as a show of support!

We own Maker & Muse, an artisan woodworking/cabinets/furniture shop mining to 13th & Castle this month. Would LOVE to have you as neighbors and do whatever we can to help! Please contact us to brainstorm ideas ❤️

I've gotten to watch TRU Colors almost since the beginning. I've never met a group of people more willing to communicate through differences. There's no cold shoulder, there's no harsh words; it's all about the impact this group can make on the future of Wilmington and gang-relations as a whole. Jump, Cory, Steve, y'all got my support endlessly.

I grew up in downtown Wilmington. I know people who have been in gangs or put in jail for gang affiliation. I know people who aren't here anymore because of their gang affiliation. This is an awesome thing for the community. The old bus depot that's an eye sore? Perfect location for a brewery. Let it happen. This is my home no matter where I actually live.

If a business with this mission statement would've existed where I grew up, a lot of lives could've been saved. Let's not pass up on the chance to nurture this great opportunity.

I live in the Carolina Place neighborhood very close to where the brewery location would be! Would love to see more growth in the area, and I fully believe in the growing team behind TRU.

This is what economic development looks like in the new economy. Nice example of a traded-sector business model with a firm foundation in social entrepreneurship. Why wouldn’t the city do this and then leverage the story to attract more scalable business to our area. No brainer.
