Please Help save Commonwealth Park. Riverside Homes LLC has been given approval to build 15 condos off Butner Road and our beautiful Commonwealth lake. Please sign our petition to stop Riverside or any applicant from ever being able to do so.
No building should be allowed in the north or southwest of Commonwealth Park. This area is known for high and standing water. It is home to animals that have no other place to go. It will overburden drainage systems .

I am a resident of Cedar Hills, and a frequent visitor to our lake and green spaces, I am opposed to this condo project, as it will degrade the natural space, interfere with wildlife, and ultimately devalue our homes.

We want to stop this development in the Commonwealth Park area. It's not the place for high density housing. It will change the beauty, wildlife, etc. that has been in Cedar Hills and Commonwealth Park for decades! The coyotes have already been pushed into our streets due to excessive development. Traffic will increase. The traffic is already bad enough. It will bring down housing values. Enough is enough. Please build away from a park that is a sanctuary for our neighborhood and other park visitors. It just not worth it!!! If it were 1-2 houses built to blend in with the neighborhood that would be different! Thanks,
Victoria Kramer

This area should be left as it is to maintain the beauty and wildlife and not be the site of yet another in-fill development. The lake has been an important part of the ecosystem and must be preserved.
