I honestly cannot believe how many people actually care about this because I thought I was just venting into the void but now it feels like maybe we can actually change how things work at home. It is kind of overwhelming honestly just seeing so many people agree that she should be able to wear a costume and get candy like everyone else.

Yeah. The only reason they shouldn't is I'd they're Jehovah's witnesses, and or if it's against their religion. But we're neither one of those. She was lnly 2 when we stopped celebrating it and is now 12.
I think the only time parents shouldn't let their kids have fun on Halloween and dress up and go trick or treating is if they're Jehovah's witness and or if it's against their religion. Despise thinking it's evil. Plus, lots of churches celebrate it. And lots of Christians celebrate it too.
It's not safety. My step dad thinks it's evil. And my mom supports him. It's not safety.
Malik had talked to me several times and thinks that him and his sister should have the ability to go trick or treating. I agree with him but that's just where I stand for this petition.
I agree with this petition it's everyone's right to celebrate any holiday or any personal choice. I believe that everyone no matter how young or old deserves to have freedom of choice!!
