The DuPage River Salt Creek Workgroup thinks they can erase our history without anyone putting up a fight. I have been fielding messages from people who are just as disgusted as I am that they would even consider destroying this landmark. We are not letting them tear down the dam while we sit by and watch.

Leave the dam alone. Its part of the charm of oak brook and one of the only cool historic sites we have left around here.
Such a beautiful spot. So many people enjoy walking there and seeing the mill in action. Why mess with a good thing?
Please save it! I have so many good memories there with my grandparents. Dont take that away from future generations.
Total waste of money to remove a perfectly good piece of local history. Spend the funds on something actually important.
