Golden Hills Community Services District is attempting to take over trash collection services in our community. Help bring this issue to light! GH residents voted that we did not want the CSD to take over solid waste management. The CSD has disregarded that vote, and our voice, and is terminating the County of Kern's contract with Benz Sanitation that has been in place since 1976. The board did not consult their residents, the county or attempt to negotiate a better rate with Benz Sanitation before terminating a contract that isn't even theirs.
