We, the residents of Dungannon Hollyfields, are calling for the termination of our contract with Greenbelt service due to unjustifiable rising prices, unexplained charges, and unreasonable fees that have consistently burdened us. Over the years, the bills we've paid have skyrocketed for services that we have little to no evidence of, including supposed managerial visits and work claims, yet no resident has been able to verify the validity or necessity of these services. We also note that our estate currently lacks any communal shared spaces, such as a playground or any other communal area that would benefit both adults and children. This is something advertised as a priority on Greenbelt website, yet our estate has never been provided with such facilities.

Our estate comprises just two modest communal green spaces that don't require substantial maintenance. The work done here should be straightforward and certainly shouldn't necessitate the heavy-duty, multiple equipment usage claimed in the bills. Despite this, Greenbelt continues to impose exorbitant fees, causing financial strain and frustration among all of us who have no clear breakdown or understanding of these charges.

Residents have repeatedly voiced these concerns with little to no response from Greenbelt, leaving us feeling neglected and exploited in a system seemingly designed to profit without accountability. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable.

It has come to a point where, as a community, we feel the best course of action is to withdraw from this service arrangement to prevent further financial exploitation. We believe in a transparent, accountable, and fair service that respects the needs and rights of its clients.

Therefore, we urge local authorities and responsible entities to recognize our plight and assist in facilitating our exit from this agreement.

Our demand is simple and reasonable: We should not be paying excessive fees for undefined services. Our community deserves to know exactly what we are paying for and to have a say in who manages these communal spaces at reasonable costs.
