I've thought for a while now that the big open bricked over area would be better used as a grass playground or park, plus it would add a place for residents around there to take there dogs.

I would love to see more park space in the downtown square rather than the back of an ugly outdated and dilapidated building that has sat empty for decades. More park space would be a huge draw for me and my family. This is public space and should remain so by creating a more inviting space for gathering in garland!

Not too long ago the square was a great central part of the community and many great events were hosted there which drew in huge crowds and really helped create a feeling of community. I believe a project like this would help to bring that back. I also think given the success of places like Klyde Warren doing so well in Dallas that this would be a great idea for our city.

It's time to stop the arguing and do away with the existing building on the east side of the Square. It's an eye-sore, a health hazard, and an impediment to any positive growth in the center of town.

I go to Lifewell, the church in the diagram and a park across from our building would hugely benefit all of us who occupy the surrounding buildings. Without the fountion being there, nothing attracts people to the area like before and a park would allow for more space to do city and community events.

Please build a park. That would be so great. They square is really nice and a park as well as a jazz club would be the icing on the cake.
