Sex education and HIV/AIDS prevention education in Fremont Unified School District should be medically accurate and comprehensive, as mandated by California law. As Fremont parents, students and community members, we request that prior to the beginning of the 2008/09 school year the FUSD school board and superintendent remove 7th and 9th grade instructional materials that are in violation of the law and replace them with the comprehensive, science-based instruction that our FUSD students deserve and that the law requires.
