Seeing the count climb toward one hundred names is truly overwhelming and I am deeply humbled by how many of you care about our park. If you can help get this to that mark today it would put us in a much better position when we eventually meet with the council.

The town park used to be a lovely spot to bring the kids, any time of the day, no matter what the weather. Now it's not worth the hassle. Please bring back security and also install CCTV to bring some order and allow the people of Carlow town to enjoy this spot again.
I'm signing this petition as my son was attacked in the park 2 years ago and suffered a fractured cheek bone its a disgrace that the park is still not a safe place to go to after all that has happened over the last 2 years there
This has to be the last straw an innocent person with a disability minding his own business out enjoying the weather getting harassed and robbed is not on we need security and cameras in our town park what does it have to take
I was disgusted to hear about the incident that occurred last week. However this isn't an isolated incident. Carlow town park is an area that should be accessible for everyone to enjoy, not a haven for thugs to run loose and intimate people. Security is a necessity.
Having security back in our local park is way over due. There's been ongoing anti social behaviour here since the security was withdrawn. It's absolutely horrendous that it's taken the mugging of a lovely local man with disabilities to highlight this again.
This type of thing just can not be allowed to happen again. security badly needed in carlow town park.
This park needs security so everyone can enjoy it safely

Disgusting. What was made to be a fun area for people of all ages to relax is now a cesspool full of scum and degenerates. We were promised security and cameras back last year. Where are they? How much will be enough, how much before they wake up and bring the security back?
