Due to recent events at Kingsway Park Goole, I have started this petition to have a park warden on duty at the park during peak periods. The resent trouble involves but not limited to- Adults fighting in front of our children, kids bullying, kids breaking the new apparatus, vandalising local allotments (next to park) smoking, drinking alcohol, using abusive and threatening behaviour and language towards adults. If we can amass a number of signatures then the council will look at the request.

Reaching this point feels like a heavy weight has finally moved. It has been exhausting to see how much this park has spiraled but seeing this level of backing proves we are not alone in wanting change.

I live in the area and the park is already full of litter as well as the zip line broken due to inconsiderate people, i have a 2 year old who likes to attend the park and it is been spoilt for her and the likes of other families.
It's such a lovely park, yet when we have visited I have had to break up a mass brawl between kids, then adults starting too.
I live near the park and my son love's going and playing but the amount of swearing,abuse and total disregard for others is disgusting.the older kids(teenagers)are taking over the park,the young ones with scooters don't get a look in on skate ramps,they get pushed,swore at and sometimes hurt . something needs to be done!!
I lived across from this park for 12 yr, I've seen drug use, ppl having massive bbq, cars chasing each over on the green,drunken adults and children, lots of fights again children and adults, been to the town council and police to do something there response was there is nothing they can do at least it's not on the street,and that camera is a waste off time never on. Good luck I thinks it is a good idea,more police patrols during day and night or turn the camera on so they can identify the guilty one's.
I live near the park and have been part of and witness abuse from the children. they have had lighters now to the rope swings in the little park,a adult cut down the zip wire. Parents send ther children out to this park with out a care on concern for there safety or anyone elses & if you confront the adults its just the same abuse. (out of sight out of mind).
stop all bad behaviour
Such a shame when the council are doing these parks for the kids.

I have stopped taking my Grandson to this play area as many of the pieces of play equipment have already been broken , and some of these children that are causing trouble,are using terrible language, fighting and making families feel threatened that would like to go use the new equipment that was so kindly put there by the council, is no longer fit for porpoise.
