For our Active Citizenship project, we decided to focus on Child Poverty and the prevalent issues focusing on Leeds. In order to raise awareness, we decided to create a petition based saying that everyone in The Ruth Gorse Academy should be allegeable for free school meals to prevent children who go days without meals.
