Hey guys we are a group of year 13 social studies students from Palmerston North Girls' High who are wanting to create change in our society. As a group we think that every kiwi kid deserves a good education on a full stomach. However 1 in 4 NZ children live in poverty and are therefore going to school without any breakfast or a packed lunch.
There are 7 schools with a decile of 3 or lower affected by this in Palmerston North alone!

Too many kids are trying to learn when they are just hungry. It breaks my heart knowing this is happening right here in Palmy. Good on you girls for taking this on.
