The development plans for the golf course have been officially halted. I never imagined we could actually pull this off but you proved that community focus is more powerful than any proposal. Let us keep an eye on the area to make sure things stay this way.

We need to get 20% of Forest Cove Residents to sign this petition to put the brakes on Ron Holley's Development of the golf course at the heart of Forest Cove.
Whether or not you want the golf course development to take place, it is important the residents of Forest Cove have a say in how the development occurs. There is no denying the development of the golf course will affect the traffic through Forest Cove, the property value of houses in Forest Cove, and of course the lifestyle that was originally envisioned for Forest Cove Residents. Please sign this petition and give Forest Cove residents a chance to voice our opinion regarding this development project.

We moved here because our old house in Elm Grove flooded twice in 4 months due to property development. Will not go through it again and do not want to lose park land behind us.
I reject the development of more homes, more congestion in Forest Cove. Kingwood traffic already uses our streets for exiting Kingwood with all the construction on Northpark and Kingwood Dr. We need more exits like extending Woodland Hills across the river, not more traffic.
Surveyors took readings to tear down the house next door, 1102 St Andrew's, to put in an access road to the "new" neighborhood. They want to advertise Kingwood access. Do we want houses torn down to make new roads?
Prefer to have course remain a green space; in the alternative, if houses are approved by permit, extremely concerned about how this development will affect drainage! All that concrete for slabs and roads will divert water and endanger existing homes.
I hope we can do this. I was a member since 1968, (before all the changes) and also worked as a greenskeeper for 2 years, as well as the lifeguard, and my 50's band played in the club bar in the early 80's. It would be great to have it back.
Please stop the development. Leave Forest Cove alone.

I live on St Andrews, right across from where the "entrance " will be constructed. This will put a stop sign right in front of my driveway. I will never be able to get in or out! Headlights in my house at night. This is a horrible idea!
