I live on St Andrews, right across from where the "entrance " will be constructed. This will put a stop sign right in front of my driveway. I will never be able to get in or out! Headlights in my house at night. This is a horrible idea!

This development will ruin the community. With the additional changes coming for Hamblen, you will create a back-burner portion of the neighborhood perfect for flooding, increased crime rate due to complications of access and decrease home values while driving up taxes. This should become a community place for the neighbors to enjoy, not a burden on their lives.

I have lived here since 1986, and have witnessed the over develoement around me first hand. I have paid for my house in full, and this has almost ruined our well being through greed. This is criminal, and we don't want it.

Nothing positive can come from destroying the beautiful open area and filling it with more concrete, buildings, density, drainage problems, traffic, and loss of our property values.

Please keep our Forest Cove Subdivision green and flood-safe by re-instating the golf course, while maintaining its vegetation and improving its drainage. Have a landscape architect create a lake with natural contours at the lower elevation to serve as a retention pond, safely draining excess rainwater away from adjacent properties. Adding natural trails bordered by low-maintenance vegetation along the perimeter of the golf course and around the lake will help turn this area into a beautiful community park, complementing the city’s Spring Creek Greenway Project with its bike trail along Hamblen Road. To ensure durability of the golf course and add to its profitability, consider relocating the club house to higher grounds, redesigning the building in a minimalist manner and adding a mini-golf for youngsters. Thus, our newly-spruced-up Forest Cove Park and Golf Course will benefit all. Thank you.

We moved here because our old house in Elm Grove flooded twice in 4 months due to property development. Will not go through it again and do not want to lose park land behind us.

We do NOT need a new development with pop up by night -KB homes! That’ll bring first time home owners and the riffraff that comes with it!

We need to keep the original Forest Cove.We bought land with Golf Course, civic center,all the amenities. Now a development company wants to come in and change it all.We flood now do to bad drainage .This will create more flooding for us and it isn't what we need.There will be issue with roads and safety for our children. WE DECLINE THIS.

I’ve lived on the golf course 30+ years. Until 2019 I had never flooded, but in that year I flooded TWICE. At that time the golf course was NOT being maintained and it was overgrown. Without a doubt, paving it over with concrete will be even worse than not keeping it mowed. The city of Houston should REQUIRE proper drainage of that property no matter what the finally outcome might be. If it is eventually developed there should be NO BENDING OF THE RULES to squeeze in more houses and more concrete. The golf course property should neither drain into my backyard nor should it send it’s waters into the ditch in front of my house to basically surround me as it did in 2019.

I live right by the old golf course area, and one of the reasons I bought my house a year ago was because of lack of close neighbors crowding my property, as well as no flooding on this street. Building this subdivision would cause a crowding on the neighborhood, create more traffic, and could potentially change the flood patterns. I am very much against it.
