Right now the city of palm coast FL will not let you have a trailer or boat in your back yard. Way should you have to pay a storage for your boat or trailer if you have a fence in yard if you cant see it form you road then what is the big deal abut have your trailer or boat at your house.
here is the City of palm coast Rules
TRAILERS: It is prohibited and unlawful to park or store a Utility
Trailer at any time on any improved or unimproved lot in a residential
district, unless at a residence for a residential service call. Trailers must
be stored in the garage or in an off-site storage area.
FOR BOAT RV
Recreational vehicles such as motor homes, travel trailers, campers,
boats and boats on trailers, may be parked in a residential driveway for
no more than three(3) days in any seven(7) day period for the purpose
of repair, maintenance, or preparation for use. However, a recreational
vehicle owned by a guest of the resident may be parked temporarily not
to exceed seven(7) days in the resident’s driveway, but shall not be
used for overnight lodging. No vehicles of any kind may be parked
overnight on undeveloped private property.
The current level of support provides a clear mandate for me to request a formal meeting with the city planning department. I am drafting a summary of the ordinance conflicts to present to the city council members next week.

A small utility trailer not seen behind an 8ft fenced yard should be allowed. You pay high property taxes in FL, its your property. This is a terrible ordinance.

Can we please keep our rv behind our fence? I like to keep my eyes on my expensive purchase and be ready to pack it up and go on vacation even in a short term notice while maintaining it throughout the year. Easier to maintain at home than at storage

Looking at a house and saw this crazy "law". I would love to live near the ocean for the beach and boating but.. I can't park my boat beside my house like every other place I've ever lived?! Who made this law, a storage facility?? Guess I won't be living in Palm Coast until this law changes.

I vouch for this petition, us small business owners have it hard as it is trying to feed our families and we pay taxes . We should be able to park our work trucks and trailers on our property. As long as it isn’t unsightly or vehicle or trailer doesn’t look abandoned.

$1300/yr for storage is very unnecessary when you pay hundreds of thousands for your own land. Not to mention boat insurance is higher when you can’t keep it at residence. A lot of wasted money that could be spent on other things to boost palm coast.

If it’s permissible to have a shed with a permit, why not let RV or boat or motor home be permitted for a fee each year? It’s another way the city can generate income instead of the storage facilities!

I have lived in Palm Coast since 1988 way before Palm Coast became incorporated! I have had a boat behind my fenced in yard for at least 10 years and no one has ever said anything until this week when I received a letter from code!! This is ridiculous !! I have lived in this home since January 1994 if nothing else I should be grandfathered in!!

We need to vote these clowns out! If they are going to tell me what I can and can't do with the property that I pay the mortgage and taxes on, then I need to know where to forward those bills for the City to pay!
