I have lived in Palm Coast since 1988 way before Palm Coast became incorporated! I have had a boat behind my fenced in yard for at least 10 years and no one has ever said anything until this week when I received a letter from code!! This is ridiculous !! I have lived in this home since January 1994 if nothing else I should be grandfathered in!!

We need to vote these clowns out! If they are going to tell me what I can and can't do with the property that I pay the mortgage and taxes on, then I need to know where to forward those bills for the City to pay!

Relocating to Florida and Palm Coast was at the top of my list for where until I heard you can't park your camper on your property. This needs to be changed

This ordinance has kept me from purchasing a property in Palm Coast, as I only have a small motorcycle trailer that cannot be seen from the street when it is behind the house in my fenced in back yard.

Boats should be able to be parked in back yard where fence is hiding the unit

I currently do not own a boat but I would like to and do not agree with the city ordinance. If you have sufficient space on your property where you can store the boat, I do not see any issue. I would not be effected or impacted negatively by any of my neighbors storing a boat on their property.

A small utility trailer not seen behind an 8ft fenced yard should be allowed. You pay high property taxes in FL, its your property. This is a terrible ordinance.

I see no problem with trailers and boats out of sight parked behind fences.

Doesn’t make any sense, if your trailer isn’t an eye sore you should be able to park it on the property you paid for and pay high taxes on.

I have paid storage for my bike trailer 6 years. I own my own home, I don’t get why I can’t use my back yard.

I see some homes in my neighborhood with as many as four to six vehicle's parked in a single driveway(some on the side grass) on a regular basis. I do not see why I cannot park a small RV in my driveway covered with a custom RV cover and 10' from the road next to my pickup. If I had a neighbor that did this I would not consider this an eye sore.

The law allows for a reasonable accommodation

I should be able to store my RV behind a fence on the side of my yard. Code enforcement stinks in Palm Coast.

This is absolutely ridiculous. You are the owner of your property and you have only one right - to pay your taxes!

You definitely should be able to park your boat behind the fence if you can't see it from the road
