Dear FDU students.
Due to the COVID19 quarantine, many FDU students have lost their jobs and are gonna be in a difficult financial situation for the next months.
Classes are now online and costs would typically drop compared to presential classes.
Other universities have already done similar petitions and bargained some relaxing considerations regarding their tuition fees.
If you consider you will have financial straining and/or considered were harmed by having online instead of physical classes you can sign this petition so we can forward it to FDU Vancouver Directors.

The FDU board of directors can no longer pretend we are invisible. This momentum proves that students are finished with paying full price for a hollowed out education while our bank accounts run dry.

my hours got cut at work and its barely enough to cover rent now. tuition needs to be lowered for everyone immediately.
exactly! why am i paying for campus facilities i cant even use? give us a break.
Living in a dorm is impossible right now and i am paying full price for zoom calls. this is honestly so unfair.
This is ridiculous. I didnt sign up for online classes and my budget is completely wrecked bc of this virus.
ONLINE CLASSES ARE NOT THE SAME AS BEING IN THE LABS. FDU needs to wake up and see that we are struggling.
