As nursing students of California Baptist University, we invest a lot into our education. COVID-19 unfortunately took us from all of our clinical sites and left us with case studies and extra work to complete every week that did not compare to a hands on clinical experience. We were unable to use our facilities and we were not reimbursed for any of our tuition fees. Our program fee for Spring 2020 was $1,575. By signing this petition you are asking for our program fee for Fall 2020, $1,675, to be waived, or reduced, because we did not get to complete all of our clinical hours in the hospitals or use our facilities for 7 weeks.

Seeing this gain traction reminds me that we are not the only ones feeling this weight. It has been a long road but I am not stopping now.

SO FRUSTRATED. We are struggling enough as it is. We really need this discount.
The clinicals are the most important part of this degree. Doing case studies online just isnt the same. Please consider reducing the fees.
paying full price for zoom classes is ridiculous. we arent getting the hands on training we are paying for and it just doesnt feel right.
Tuition needs to be lowered this semester to make up for the education we lost due to COVID-19. I understand it was out of the school’s control but raising prices is unacceptable!
Just want what is fair. We missed out on so much clinic time in the spring and we shouldnt have to pay full price if things stay online.
It’s a hard time for everyone let’s make it a little easier(:

If we have remote learning for Fall it would be appreciated if our tuition was lowered as well, due to the fact that online learning in the nursing field is less than optimal.
