To bring into effect an act that advises supermarkets and fast food restaurants to donate their food wastage to local homeless shelters and food banks. The act is to also protect the businesses from any legal action being taken against them should there be any issue once the goods are consumed.
I was walking past the grocery store dumpsters last night and just felt sick thinking about all the perfectly good meals rotting away when people in our own town are going to bed hungry. The legal stuff is tricky because companies are so scared of lawsuits but we have to find a way to fix this because the current waste is just plain wrong.

This should just be the norm, but the amount of wasted food is ridiculous. Just look what happens at a fast food restaurant if they get your order wrong - it goes straight in the bin!

People should take care of their surroundings and help others as much as they can and have the opportunity.

Its honestly shocking how much gets thrown out at the end of the night when there are people going hungry right outside the door.

About time. Why should perfectly good food just sit in a skip behind the shop? Makes no sense.
