This year has placed immense strain on students across the UK, either on campus or studying remotely. Students have had to adapt quickly to a way of learning that they had never experienced before, frequently encountering difficulties.

With exams and assignments cancelled across the country, it is our firm belief that asking for a one month extension to the portfolio will vastly improve our mental health and our ability to meet all the deadlines being set. We do not believe that this proposal is demanding and firmly believe that it is a reasonable compromise for a year group that has been suffering since the beginning of term.
