This year has placed immense strain on students across the UK, either on campus or studying remotely. Students have had to adapt quickly to a way of learning that they had never experienced before, frequently encountering difficulties.
With exams and assignments cancelled across the country, it is our firm belief that asking for a one month extension to the portfolio will vastly improve our mental health and our ability to meet all the deadlines being set. We do not believe that this proposal is demanding and firmly believe that it is a reasonable compromise for a year group that has been suffering since the beginning of term.

I logged on this morning and saw the notification and I think my heart actually stopped for a second because honestly I was just sitting at my desk feeling totally overwhelmed by my own work when this blew up. It feels like everyone is finally seeing that we are all just drowning in deadlines and this momentum is exactly what we need to actually get the administration to listen to us for once.

no way is the current date realistic. too much stress
PLEASE extend the deadline. We are barely keeping our heads above water with how much work we have.
Honestly struggling to keep up with everything right now, an extension would be a life saver.
The deadline for the portfolio is way too early due to the fact that we aleady have so many work and we are in a pandemic. The date for submission is putting all of us in stress comsidering the fact that we dont think that the deadline is realistic and possible. We arent given reading week and our xmas holiday was only 3 weeks therefore there isnt enough time to complete the portfolio
