UNISA students, especially the final year students, are deeply concerned about the constant change in exam dates - this causes a lot of frustration, anxiety and fear that we may even end up losing our already volatile jobs and income because of the ever-changing exam timetable that causes multiple module clashes without relief from UNISA.
We
implore UNISA to reconsider that we make use of portfolios for this
exam period - it will assist with the traffic on the overly burdened
Unisa online system as well as address all of the above fears of the
students.

Portfolio exams to allow students fair chance as bad internet connectivity seems to be a main concern .Overflow of students means that some students have battled to download question paper as well as upload answers in the allocated time.
Please it is frustating. An it interfere with your planning according to your timetable and is stressful to deal with the unavailability of papers. You loose focus and and cannot give your best with the stress of system failure/ overloading on top of your exam stress.
Please change to portfolio as we cannot be stressed about getting our papers and the system and it taking away from the 3 hours to write our actual exams. It is ridiculous and unfair on us students. We are final year students and we definitely want to write this semester.
Changing of dates timeously causes a serious challenge as students plan way ahead and apply for study leave. This alterations make it difficult to plan your work properly. I agree portfolio will do in this regard.
I am worried about the constant changes on the exam dates especially writing exams on Saturday. .I am a Sabbath keeper and this will affect me. There is also a problem with network when uploading and submitting exams. May you kindly consider portfolios as our summative assessment

On Saturday 06 June I was writing COM2602 and today 08 June I wrote COM2603 I was unable to submit my assessments due to technical glitches. MyUnisa submission portal didn't appear on my site. I am a second year student.
