The Elfrida Society has drafted an updated Staff handbook combining all of our Policies and Procedures. It has been shared and we have been involved in a consultation process.
We want to extend the consultation to the 31.03.19. We want to ensure we have:
- More time to read the whole handbook (152 pages)
- Time to cover the whole handbook in our consultation
- Full involvement of all employees at The Elfrida Society
- Full involvement with our Unite
- More information about why the changes have been made. For example, full details of Elfrida Societies finances and full sick leave details.
Please sign the petition and help us ask our CEO and Trustees to extend the consultation to 31st March 2019.

I agree with going ahead with the grievance against Elfrida. The proposed changes to sick pay in particular has caused concern and seems harsh.
I agree with the grievance against Elfrida. I agree Unite should be totally involved in the consultation. I agree we need all information and more time.
I agree that we need more time to have a fully inclusive consultation to give all staff an opportunity to understand and speak up about these changes to our terms and conditions.

The basics of democracy is access to information so the vote can be properly informed.
I agree with the grievance going ahead the new proposals for terms and conditions does not reflect the incredible work the Homelink workers provide for disabled adults in Islington.
