I started this because I was worried about what these changes might mean for all of us and I am genuinely humbled to see so many people agreeing that we need more time to talk. I am currently reaching out to colleagues to see how we can properly review these proposals together because the strength of this movement belongs entirely to the people who chose to sign.

Wrong to pass this while everyone is away. Very disappointed in the leadership on this one.
Just let us have the debate. If these reforms are so good then they can hold up to a few more months of scrutiny.
Academic freedom is the whole point of this place. Slow down and let the board have a real discussion.
Total nonsense. Nobody is here in august to consult on anything. EXTEND THE DEADLINE.
What is the rush??? This is too important to mess up because someone wants to meet a deadline.

Rushing these changes through in the summer is shady. Give people time to actually read what is happening.
