We, the citizens of the town of Tyler, petition the city to extend the alcohol consumption hour to 2:00am in all local restaurants/bars.
This will help prevent driving while intoxicated to out of town restaurants/bars. It will also help local bars with a increase in profits.
We ask that the City Council consider this request in the near future.
The momentum behind this push is finally forcing the City Council to take notice of what local business owners have been saying for years. They cannot keep ignoring us while our tax dollars bleed into neighboring towns because of these short-sighted restrictions.

The current hours are stuck in the dark ages. Give the local business owners a chance to actually make some real money on the weekends.

Finally. Making us leave at midnight just means everyone drives to the next county. Makes zero sense.

Yes! Been saying this for years. Keep the tax money right here in Tyler instead of letting the neighboring towns take it.
