We the citizens of Phenix City, AL and Columbus,GA are formally requesting of the City Council of Phenix City to extend the operating hours of Idle Hour Park, located at 900 Airport Rd., Phenix City AL 36867 .
We the citizens of this city do not find the current posted hours of 10am to 8pm to meet the needs for our recreational activities. We are asking that the hours be extended to 8am to 3am daily and a police presence be provided to accomodate the hours.

I am currently drafting a formal proposal to submit to the City Council that outlines the specific logistics of extending park hours and coordinating security coverage. I have also reached out to the local precinct to request a briefing on current patrols near the park area.

Pokemon go is work staying at the park all night even when we have work the next day.
Maybe have a cop just stop by here and there, not have one posted up wasting time.... Up to them I guess if they approve this!
I think 3 am is a little much, but maybe 1 am would be better.
I hope this actually works.
As long as they don't mess with the birds that call the place home.
Allowing bikes and pets would be nice as well.
I would say at least till 12 midnight
