The momentum behind this call for unity reflects a deep frustration that we all feel across the country. Take this link to your local mosque leaders today and demand that they sign on to align our Eid prayers. We must force the conversation into their boardrooms before the next cycle begins.

So tired of this back and forth every single year. We follow the moon in Mecca for Hajj so why is it so hard to do it for Eid? Unity please!!!!!

Finally someone said it. It makes no sense that half the city celebrates on one day and the other half on the next. Ruins the whole spirit of the holiday for the kids.
