It's just the name 'catch up' used.. kids are made to sit in a room and study themselves or read a book. No staff is there to help at all!! Absolutely unfair.. how about Christmas and Easter 'catch up'???
Students should be granted a leave without catch-up to celebrate EID (same as Christmas for Christians) after fasting for a whole month..
how do people miss 2 days of school for being "sick" and get away with it while we celebrate a important religious holiday and we have to do dead catch up hours
Because of this kids come in stress and it also beings stress to the family. Everyone is disturbed and it ruins our Eid.
Eid is our religious festival. Students get weeks of holidays for events like Easter and Christmas but for our eid festival we don't get a day off. Students should be given a day to celebrate eid if they can get weeks off school for other events.
NO EID CATCHUP!!!!

It is a religious right for the children at Ashcroft to be given a holiday on Eid which only comes twice a year. And by giving them 5 hours catch up after school it is basically punishing them for missing school on these grounds which is highly inappropriate.
