This petition is for Eagles Landing residents who are frustrated with paying HOA dues for a gated community, while not actually having the gates operate. In the past 2 years, the gates have functioned correctly for just over 90 days, but we continue to pay for a secured community. Unlike Ashton Oaks or Bear Creek, the gates of Eagles Landing routinely do not work, which increases evening and nightly traffic to the community, not to mention a very poor appearance when entering. This petition is to show the Board of Directors that we are not okay with paying for services that we aren't getting. We insist that our quarterly dues be reduced to the same as Rusty Creek until the gates work consecutively for 60 days.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by how many of you stepped up to back this. It turns out I am not the only one feeling frustrated by these broken gates and this result is entirely due to your willingness to speak out.

Scott, absolutely agree. Have inquired with the HOA in the past although it never seems to do any good. We bought in a gated community for a reason, pay our dues and expect the HOA to fulfill their responsibilities to the community.
I was about to send Amelia C. a reminder asking for the latest status as I saw the repair guys here a week or so ago, but no update from her. Meantime maybe this will get their attention. Good initiative Scott..! Thanks...
The gates have been open since I move in 2009 we pay for gated community but no gates
I support this petition. I live at 16548 Flintrock Falls Ln.
We respect and appreciate that life can be very busy for all of us and that "things happen"--patience is certainly a virtue, but it is also true that we are paying for a service that we are not receiving. I know we all feel blessed to call the Palisades home--we thank you in advance for solving the "mystery of the gates" and, let's hope, this might extend to the conundrum of the missing fence along Grand Palisades as well.
Please fix our gate or lower the HOA!

The gate is a constant issue, it doesn't work. More than happy to pay for a gated community, however at this point it isn't!
