Hello neighbors,
I'm starting this petition for those in favor of having a gate code for all residents to use to gain access to the community. I understand that a lot of you may not be able to attend the HOA meeting on Monday October 28, 2019 but would like to have a voice, this is the way to do it!
We already pay enough between HOA fees and our monthly mortgages/rent to not have to buy additional items like gate clickers and key cards just to access our community. Additionally, not having gate codes makes access into our community difficult for family and friends. The call box is not a reliable solution as it's always either broken, contacts aren't updated/ not available to answer the call, or pressing "9" on the receiving call doesn't always open the gate.
Even with the absence of a community gate code, we're all able to gain access into the community after an inconveniencing wait.. to include criminals. The only people who are truly affected by the absence of a community gate code are the residents merely trying to get home.

The emails I receive from neighbors tell the same frustrating story about broken call boxes and waiting in their cars. I have been spending my evenings gathering these experiences to present at the next board meeting because the current system is not working for any of us.

Reaching this level of support shows how many of us are exhausted by the current gate system. It is draining work to keep pushing for simple access but seeing so many neighbors agree keeps me moving forward.

Seriously tired of waiting for the call box to work. It barely connects half the time and my food delivery guys just leave because they cant get in. Fix the access issue.
Agreed. Call box is not reliable. Name disappeared from the contacts on the call box and it's always a hassle when we have visitors. Always have to physically drive down to the gate to let friends and/or family in
Get these gates fixed
A gate code is very necessary for personal visitors as well of deliveries

Need a code. Sick of driving to the gate at night just to let my sister in.
