Newton County decided to charge for the use of the once free dump causing great financial strain on the veterans, seniors, retired, disabled, and indigent citizens of Newton.county. These fees are extremely high for these citizens because of being on a fixed income. This shouldn't be. These fees should be heavily discounted or removed for the veterans, seniors, retired, disabled, and indigent citizens.

Please sign if you believe in this cause and to let the county officials know that changes need to be made immediately.

This sum is a ridiculous amount for what use to be free or paid for by our taxes. Tell the citizens BOC where the money that was used for garbage in the past has gone. Several members of the BOC are up for elections, if we can't get relief they do not need to be reelected.

I am an attendant at one of the centers. I personally deal with a lot of senior citizens that pay the full fee. They bring 1 to 2 bags of trash and recyclable a week while I have to witness people that abuse the system and bring large loads to my center. They pay the same.

We were recycling cardboard and glass, now burning and throwing in curbside pickup. Need fees reduced, so much more garbage/furniture tossed in the ditches along our country roads now

I am 66 and my wife 60 we are both disable couldnt pay that much at one time so we went to curb side now we have to get someone to take it to the road about200 ft.its a lot easier to drop, off a couple of bags at a time our family has been paying taxes on this land sense the 40's!

Seniors, vets and disabled are already on fixed incomes and most of the time have no means of supplementing their income and with health and medical cost , and cost of living going up everyday, this should be one burden they do not have to deal with.

The $155 fee for the (hang Tags) is a truly a hardship fee added to an already high cost of living for myself and my family. I am a veteran from the US Army and any additional tax reduction /fees would be greatly appreciated for a family living paycheck to paycheck. Thankyou.
