Drowning in Frustration Over High Lake Levels

Be part of the solution to the frustration we have all been experiencing on high lake levels, with no action from various government agencies.
After much discussion with our County Commissioner, Douglas County Ditch Inspector and Township representatives, the only way we are going to get any sort of action is to produce a petition of 50 signatures of lake owners, requesting a Public Hearing for all affected owners on Maple, Reno, Turtle and Long Lakes. Once the County Board receives this petition, they will then proceed to get us on their monthly agenda.
The Public Hearing will involve the DNR, Douglas County Ditch Division, County Commissioners, Township representatives and any/all lake owners that choose to be present. For those unable to attend the hearing, legal representation is welcome.
This will allow all of us to hear what each entity has to say, communicate their proposals for a solution and an avenue for all of us to be heard with our concerns. What is said and agreed upon at this meeting will then need to be acted upon.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
