Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center depends on non residents to have adequate amounts of people to play volleyball. Increasing the price will lead to lower attendance. Without enough people to play, the residents of Cooper City will not be able to enjoy the volleyball courts at the community center located in Rock Creek. Non residents were among the core participants in the rise of popularity of the volleyball nets in the Rock Creek Community Center. Non residents set up events, groups, and pages to ensure the growth of Rock Creek Volleyball in the South Florida volleyball community; While the Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center site doesn't even mention volleyball courts. Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center depends on non residents to fill their volleyball courts. As non residents, the majority of us aren't close to Rock Creek but choose to play there anyway. We request that you keep the price at $1. The price we've all payed for over 10 years.

Sent my first inquiry to the parks department this morning. Still waiting for a real answer about these price hikes.

The amount of money we have brought your facility over the past 10 years should have made you more than enough to offset any inconveniences. We would love to continue to play at your facility and keep inviting our friends...but you will see a drop in attendance (and $$$) long term if prices are raised.
Unlike basketball that is mostly played by young guys, volleyball allows for a more diverse mix of ages and is great fun for both genders. It requires players with different skills to be able to have competitively fun games. Non residents play with our Cooper City friends here several days a week and it is often the difference between good and bad games. Making it cost prohibitive for non residents to play regularly will eventually make the game play poor enough that nobody will want to play. :(

Please don't raise prices.
I don't think we should have to pay at all but keeping it at $1 is the best for everyone to ensure people still attend.

As someone who learned the game of volleyball in this facility at a very young age, many of my close colleagues are non residents as well as my mentors of the game. A rise in price would most definitely shift the presence of volleyball in the Cooper City community as a whole. The shift would cause residents and non residents to change preference of location to neighboring cities who do not charge and become be threats to the game in Cooper City. Raising prices do not always mean larger revenues, but can mean the lost of loyal athletes of the past 15 years.
