the city of detroit unfairly targets the wayne state area and downtown area for parking violations. parking violations are unfairly priced. some of the policies need to be changed in favor of the residents of detroit and recipients of parking violations. including the booting procedure for unpaid parking tickets. owners of cars should be allowed to turn over titles before the the 35 day period in order to avoid storage fees if they choose to do so. the city of detroit forces the 35 day period so that at least $280 can be added to parking tickets before the car is auctioned off.
