TOLLS BY MAIL VIOLATION FEES IS ROBBERY!! .... How does a $17 Toll become $100 How does a $1.00 toll become $50 if you don’t pay it within 30 days meanwhile you don’t even get the violation notice until after 30 days & by then you have prolly already accumulated 4 or 5 Fee by then so now something that could have been $68 becomes $400. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!! They need to Fix their Violation Fees People can not afford to pay this type of monet it is absourd & Change needs to come immediately before we are all In Debt!!

I am hearing from more people every day about these predatory fees turning small tolls into massive debts. Contact your local state representative today to demand they audit these collection practices. Send them the link to this petition and tell them you want these violation penalties capped immediately.

I’ve already had to pay over 1200 in fees for about $200 and change in tolls that we were never billed for. They expect you to call and make the payment. Who has time to do another persons job? Wasn’t the tolls suppose to pay off the bridge? Wasn’t the bridge paid off years ago? Why is it so much to cross in Staten Island? Why does my friends and family who don’t ha e EZ pass have to pay $17 to visit me and my family!?
Even when you have ez pass they don’t take the money out right away and you are hit with fees when you have money in the account
This happened to me on the road towards Dullus National Airport. But Nothing stated that i would have to pay a toll or would be charged there after.
I’ve called them and they actually told me that it use to be 50 dollar fees but since people in NY don’t pay it , it now went up to 100 dollar fee per toll. This is ridiculous and has to stop.
Staten islanders are the ones who suffer!! We have no choice to use a bridge to get off this island . We need justice! Don’t Pay! We Stay!! Stuck in island surrounded by water
Stop the evil fees , making us all poorer and distressed

Haven't gone to GI since this was put into effect. Will not have to attach a bank account to something I have to pay extra for, and use only a couple times per year. It is impossible to properly keep track of this and the fees are absolutely ridiculous.
