This petition aims to have the owners of the Car Wash on 4760 N. Huntington Drive be responsible citizens and business owners. This petition asks for some basic things:
What do we want:
- Signage that reads: No loud music after 8:00 p.m.
- Fix your vacuums, so that there is no high-pitch sound emission
- Cease operations after 10:00 p.m.
- Fix drainage, so Car Wash sludge does not flow down Fithian Ave.
By signing this petition, you agree that the owners should be more caring and take responsibility for the noise pollution their business creates.

I really thought this might just fizzle out but the response lately has been totally overwhelming and honestly I can barely keep up with the notifications while my coffee gets cold. It feels like people are finally noticing the sludge on Fithian and the screeching vacuums and that makes me feel way less like I am just imagining the whole thing.

The booming noise of blaring music from patrons of the carwash causes the windows in my house to rattle, especially at night. The carwash is part of our neighborhood, but certainly not neighborly.
Not a fan of the whistling vacuum and window rattling music at 2am. If you live near the car wash you know you what I’m talking about.
Owners be responsible
Good morning... I literally live across the street from the Carwash on Paola ave. Next to the church, and sadly I’ve seen residents moved out because of the loud noise at 2 am. There’s gang activity, property being vandalized and stolen and lots of drug abuse on the premises due to the lights being on 24/7 in the car wash. Please let’s make a change. I fear for my family’s life and others.
Changes need to be made to make this community safer! Way too much noise at all of the night and gang members hanging out selling drugs as well as Private property being vandalized. It’s time to make changes to protect our residents and to make our community a safe place for our family and our children!
Please help make a change

Hi, I am a resident on Fithian Avenue and the sludge from the Car Wash makes for large bodies of water that form on our street, trapping debris and attracting flies and mosquitos. I'm asking them to fix the drainage issue. I also agree w/ the other requests to post signs about loud music emanating from cars, fixing vacuums for sound, and ceasing operation after 10pm.
