the developer just officially withdrew their rezoning application for the site. we managed to protect our neighborhood and i am so thankful for everyone who stood up to get this done. lets keep an eye on the property just in case but for now we won.

I am requesting your help in stopping a developer from building a data center in our backyard.
A developer submitted application to change zoning for 18.88 across at the intersection of Ashburn Village Road and Waxpool Road.They are looking to change zoning so they can build a two story building totaling 476,500 SQ FT building.
Although initial drawing shows all the mechanical and electrical equipment facing Ashburn Village Road, our community may have impact due to sound, and air pollution. Lastly to support all the technology they will be installing many generators. Transformer and Chiller will be running on a regular basis together with that generators kicking off during power outage or for regular maintenance. Property will also have massive amount of diesel fuel to support generators.
Again, I ask each home owner of Farmwell Hunt, Morley Corner to sign this petition to stop this development. Please add comment expressing your objection for this construction.

just hit 250 signatures and im honestly amazed at how fast this is growing. so many neighbors are speaking up about the noise and diesel concerns we cant let this development go forward without a fight.

im still reading through the comments and its wild how many of us have the same worries about the noise and the pollution. keeping this in mind while we look for the next steps to keep our neighborhood quiet and safe.

we just hit 100 signatures and im honestly amazed at how fast the neighborhood showed up for this. those generators and the diesel fuel are a real threat to our backyards so thanks for looking out for each other.

This site is in a residential neighborhood and should not be rezoned. When I purchased my house, I was told a church and a school would be built on that property. How can you possibly justify changing that to a data center within feet of neighborhoods and a daycare?
We have too many data centers already! There are multiple public and preschools in that area and the last thing we need is more commercial buildings encroaching on the families that live here!
I too object to this unsightly intrusion on our residential neighborhood. This would be an excellent opportunity for the county to step up and purchase this land for much needed recreational area such as ball fields, park, or even a small nature reserve.
I am completely opposed to having a data center adjacent to our Farmwell Hunt neighborhood. There is no reason to locate these unsightly centers near established residential neighborhoods and I feel doing so would have a negative impact on property values and the quality of life we currently enjoy.
I live right in Farmwell Hunt's neighborhood and would detest living right by a data center. There's already too many in the area and it has made the traffic on Waxpool dangerous and congested. I moved to ashburn to have good walking paths and enjoy the neighborhoods, not feel like I'm in a warehouse park.
This would be a terrible idea and would directly impact my home value and quality of life.
We already have too many data centers in our backyards, we need this space for other things to diversify the area

We have way too many Ughly Data Tech Center in Residential area in Ashburn. It Does not feel warm.. inviting. Seeing white smoke going up in the air. Reminds me of driving thru industrial area.
